Welcome Back to School!
I am so excited to start a new school year with my students in Culinary Arts 1. This class is a lot of fun, but is a lot of work too. Students will be learning skills and cooking techniques that will last a life time. We will begin by going over kitchen safety, measuring, kitchen equipment, abbreviations and equivalents. Keep all of your class papers. They will be helpful when studying for the Safety Test. Students must pass the Safety Test with an 85% or better before they are allowed to cook. If you have any questions about the class you can post a comment to this site.

I can't believe this school year is over!! I have enjoyed all of my students so much this year. And you have made some great food!! If you ever get bored, try and find something to cook. Make something we have done in class, or be adventurous and try a new recipe! If you have lost track of some of the recipes we have done in class, you can click on the Recipes link on the left to find the recipes we have done in class. If you are looking for more recipes, go to Culinary Arts II and click on the recipe tab there. You will find many more!! Have a wonderful summer!
