Last Home Cooking Assignment is due Monday 12-16-19 for A day classes and Tuesday 12-17-19 for B day classes! Don't forget!

Update for Periods 4,5 & 6 Country Food and Culture Project

Periods 4, 5 & 6 - Your Country Food and Culture Project and Extra Credit food (if interested), will now be due on Tuesday 11/19/19. That is also the due date for your Home Cooking Assignment #3. Unless our schedule changes again, please plan on this due date for your project and Home Cooking Assignment. 

Home Cooking Assignment #2 - Due Tuesday 10/15 for A day classes and Wednesday 10/16 for B day classes.

Reminder: Home Cooking Assignment #1 is due tomorrow for A day classes and on Monday for B day classes!! 100 points!!

To earn some extra credit for each recipe you have - these are the recipes we have done this semester. Please have your name on each recipe. 

Recipes will be checked on Thursday, 5/30/19 for periods 1,2 &3 and 5/31/19 for period 5. You may have the recipes checked before that date, however, none will be checked after the dates listed. If you are on a field trip and want your extra credit for your recipes, please see me BEFORE you leave.

Food and Culture Project due next class!!

Turn in:

1. Completed questionnaire packet
2. Google slides (4 slides)
3. Booklet containing 3 printed recipes and a typed up list of sources used for the whole project. 

Extra Credit Opportunity: Make a recipe at home from your country to share with the class. 

Worth 150 points so do your best work!!

• Principles of Baking (period 5, I have yours already)
• Practice Reading Recipes (except Period 5)
• What's on a food Label
• Breakfast Cereal - Healthy or Unhealthy

Also due: Design a Food Label Project (directions and my sample can be found on my website, click on Learning Guide on the left, then scroll down to  Food Label Project).

Home Cooking Assignment Due Next class!

Your Home Cooking Assignment #1 is due next class. Take 3 pictures and either email them to me at mmoore@hartdistrict.org, or print them, or show me on your phone. Parent signature on the form is required! 

Also - any late or missing work is due by Friday 2/8/19 as Progress report grades for 3rd quarter are due!!
